<p>The microtransactions industry has recorded revenues shy of <a href="https://www.thebusinessresearchcompany.com/report/online-microtransaction-global-market-report-2020-30-covid-19-implications-and-growth#:~:text=Microtransactions%20are%20in%2Dgame%20purchases,for%20small%20amounts%20of%20money.&amp;text=The%20global%20online%20microtransaction%20market,(CAGR)%20of%203.6%25." target="_blank">30 billion dollars</a>. Imagine the pie LN can have since it is all about micropayments. I'm excited about a future where I don't have to pay full subscription fees for services (Netflix, Podcasts,etc) I'd rather pay a few sats for a single content I'm in the mood for watching, rather than paying for an entire month in advanced when I won't be necessarily consuming their services during that time. </p>
