Updating fees on my ln node

when running charge-lnd or even when using lncli, it takes couple of days for my fees to update, some channels update fast, others hang for quite some time. In most tutorials/articles people set it to run in a cronjob once every hour, in my case that's impossible. Anyone got any idea why that happens in my case or how to fix it?

Currently that seems to fix a few responsiveness issues.
