The world of wine is full of snobbery and it is hard to find out where the good advice ends and where the bs beginns. What is your strategy when at the store?

<p>The marketing strategy is to put 3 types of wines close to each other, cheap, medium and expensive. They assume most people will get the medium priced one.</p><p><br></p><p>If you want to get the best deal, probably start with the cheapest ones and try them all. See if you like any of them. If not, go to the next expensive ones. Continue until you find one that you enjoy. That will be the best bang for your buck.</p>
