Smartbit.com.au was a really cool block explorer that allowed you to just type some characters of a bitcoin address and it would help you find addresses that contained that string. Example: "3L8Ck6b" > 3L8Ck6bm3sve1vJGKo6Ht2k167YKSKi8TZ Is there any block explorer or other website that provides this now?

It's not possible to search for Bitcoin addresses that contain a certain string directly, as Bitcoin addresses are a complex mix of random numbers and letters.

However, if you're looking for transactions that involve a specific string or keyword, you could use a blockchain explorer tool like blockchain.com, Blockchair, or BTC.com. These tools allow you to search for transactions by entering a keyword or string in the search field, and the tool will return a list of transactions that match your search criteria.

Keep in mind that searching for a keyword or string in transactions doesn't necessarily mean that the address itself contains that string. It's possible that the string is present in the transaction description or memo field instead.
