Depending on the amount I use both mobile wallets and Hardware wallets but always full non custodial with my seed phrase only known to me. Also I dont exactly tell anyone how I do it for security reasons.

Wallet scrutiny ( https://walletscrutiny.com/ ) is always my go to, to decide if I want to experiment with some new wallet!

I also support open source developments for my ideals!

For beginners I recomment totally other wallets than for experience tech savy users!

Mobile Wallet I would recommend the Blue wallet at the moment. Full non custodial Btc onchain wallet and custodial lightning wallet working really well.

And Hardware, go with a big reliable brand with some trusted history like Trezor, Ledger or Bitbox.

Most importantly, learn bitcoin before exchanging anything for it. Know what and seed phrase is, how it works, and how to protect it.

i use samourai wallet as my main wallet. Its an Android app so its not as secure as hardware wallet.

I'm no bitcoin millionaire so I think its enough for my threat level. If you have a lot of wealth in Bitcoin, a Hardware wallet like Trezor is highly recommended.
